DVS UNIVERSAL GRINDING GMBH
We, DVS Universal Grinding GmbH, are based near Frankfurt Main/Germany and manufacture combined machines for the hard-fine machining of shafts and chucking components with a maximum distance between centres of up to 1,800 mm. The focus lies on component batch sizes from single pieces to medium-sized series production.
We have an extensive machining technology pool at our disposal due to our close cooperation with the machine and tool manufacturers within the DVS TECHNOLOGY GROUP. One outstanding result of this cooperation is the machine series DVS UGrind, which for the first time enables grinding, hard-turning and measuring applications to be carried out precisely and profitably in a single clamping.

The DVS UGrind combines complete hard-fine machining in one machine. Turning, measuring and grinding applications on external and internal surfaces can be performed in one work cycle. For example, various fit seats can be turned and ground without tool change with a high degree of precision in one single clamping. Since the workpiece is only clamped once, set-up times are reduced and reclamping faults are avoide
